Visitor rules

Visitors to the Foundation are required to observe proper manners and behave respectfully towards other visitors and the Foundation’s staff.

Behaviors that violate these rules, the prohibitions indicated at the entrance, or the instructions given by staff may result in removal from the premises. For current exhibitions, whether free or paid, visitors are required to leave luggage at the entrance of the exhibition areas and to store large bags and backpacks in the designated lockers.
In exhibition and conference spaces, it is also prohibited to

  • bringing in animals, except those assisting people with disabilities, and any objects that could pose a risk to the safety of people, the building, or the facilities;
  • taking unauthorized photographs or videos, or any recordings not permitted under the rules displayed at the ticket office;
  • smoking in any of the Foundation’s premises;
  • using mobile phones inside the exhibition spaces;
  • consuming food and drinks

Additional restrictions may be imposed by event organizers using the spaces at Palazzo Ducale.
