The global debate about the direction we are heading in—the right, the wrong, the same, or lost direction—has become an existential question that resonates in the smallest aspects of life.
THE OTHER DIRECTION explores this issue through the journeys of passengers on Genoa’s No. 1 bus, through neighborhoods from the center to the suburbs, focusing on the untold stories of women commuters. The project aims to transform their everyday experiences into an opportunity for their voices to be heard.
THE OTHER DIRECTION delves into societal, political, cultural, and gender dynamics, promoting a critical perspective on listening, trusting, and breaking down barriers between strangers.
It is an invitation to confront prejudice, reconsider choices, and reflect on what we center and what we overlook, highlighting the transformative power of dialogue in shared existence.
