Fondazione Palazzo Ducale Genova
Thursday, 18 September 2025 at 5 PM, Lesser Council Hall
Matteo Fochessati and Anna Vyazemtseva from the Wolfsoniana of Nervi, together with director Ilaria Bonacossa, will present the monumental work by the English artist Barbara Mildred Jones, which has returned to Italy after more than sixty years and is now on permanent display thanks to a loan agreement between the London-based association RAW – Rediscovering Art by Women and Palazzo Ducale Fondazione per la Cultura in Genoa.
The piece is a gigantic head-shaped silhouette from which emerge scenes and objects evoking themes of labor, technological innovation, and social change.
