Accessibility for Visitors with Disabilities
Access for visitors with disabilities is available from the entrance on Piazza De Ferrari.
Visitors may use their own wheelchairs.
Two non-motorized wheelchairs are available at the ticket office for visitor use.
Elevators are located in the second courtyard on the left – west wing.
A stair lift is available to access the exhibition areas in the Sottoporticato and the Loggia degli Abati (Piazza Matteotti level).
Vehicles displaying a disability permit may park in Piazza Matteotti and approach the Munizioniere entrance to access the upper floors via the west wing elevators.
Non-residents of Genoa must request prior authorization for access to the ZTL (restricted traffic zone) from Genova Parcheggi (tel. +39 010 539871)
Hearing Loop System
The Minor and Major Council halls are equipped with a hearing loop system for visitors with hearing impairments.
